TOKYO, October 29, 2007 --- Sumitomo Mitsui
Banking Corporation (SMBC, President: Masayuki Oku) announced today that it
will, together with SMBC Volunteer Fund and SMBC Global Foundation Inc. , donate more than
USD 100,000 to the American Red Cross and other entities for the California
wildfire disaster relief.
