for Exercising the Right to Request Acquisition of Preferred Stock

 

 

TOKYO, January 27, 2010 --- Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (SMFG, President: Teisuke Kitayama) hereby announces that the price for exercising the right to request acquisition (the gAcquisition Priceh) and the floor price for exercising the right to request acquisition (the gFloor Acquisition Priceh) with respect to its First to Fourth and Ninth to Twelfth Series Type 4 Preferred Stock (the gPreferred Stockh) will be adjusted as set out below in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Preferred Stock.
