TOKYO, January 24, 2014 --- Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (gSMFGh, President: Koichi Miyata) hereby announces that, on January 23, 2014 (Eastern Standard Time), SMFG submitted an interim report on Form 6-K to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (gSECh).
