Opening of Shinjuku Foreign Currency Exchange Corner

  We, The Sakura Bank, Ltd. (Akishige Okada, President) will open "Shinjuku Foreign Currency Exchange Corner" in Shinjuku Branch on December 14, 2000. It is a foreign currency exchange specialized office, with longer business hours and discounted exchange rates.
  We have already opened the foreign currency exchange specialized offices at Narita Airport, Kansai International Airport, Kobe City Air Terminal and Sannomiya Station Building, and this is our first Foreign Currency Exchange Corner at the central Tokyo.


1. Background
(1) To meet customers' needs of foreign currency exchange after closing time and on closing day of branches.
(2) To meet diversified needs of foreign currency exchange with the increase in the number of foreign passengers and the change in destinations.
