Commencement of Operation of Istanbul Representative Office

 

 

 TOKYO, February 17, 2012---Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC, President: Takeshi Kunibe) announced that its Representative Office in Istanbul, The Republic of Turkey, today commenced operation.

 

 The opening of the Istanbul office will strengthen SMBC’s business platform in the region and enhance SMBC’s capacity to further support the business of its customers through the provision of highly professional finance solutions, including trade and project finance.
